Paige Verona Playlist, Número Dos (2018): “Obsession”

After I made my super long 2016 playlist, I kept hearing other songs I thought would be great to add.  I kept adding them to a separate list with the intention of adding them to the original playlist, but life got busy and the list got longer and longer.  Recently, I decided it was time to put all of those songs together and create another Paige Verona list of music.  Surprisingly enough, although the first playlist from 2016 has songs that I gathered over many years, this new list with songs that I’ve gathered for the past year and a half is longer than the first one.

As with the first playlist, I spent hours specifically putting each and every song in order (197 songs and over 12.5 hours of listening pleasure).  There are so many different genres and sounds going on in the playlist that having them shuffled around would really probably make them clash.  *Therefore, the best way to listen to this playlist is by listening to the tracks in orderWith a paid Spotify account, there is no issue with that.  With a free Spotify account you can listen to them in order on your computer only (only shuffle is available on the phone app for free accounts), and will have to deal with advertisements every few songs.*

My music tastes vary widely, so it’s doubtful that anyone with a picky music taste will like all of this.  However, it’s also likely that regardless of your music taste, you’ll find several songs you could get into. To participate in the Playlist Challenge, try to give each song at least a minute’s listen, and try to keep the skipping to a minimum!  Hopefully this playlist will introduce you to some new tunes or help you re-visit some loved ones. It may give you an appreciation for a genre/song/artist you weren’t previously into.

This playlist has 197 tracks and is 12 hours and 32 minutes long. For me, the vibe is definitely different than the vibe of the first playlist.  Again, however, there is a large variety of many different genres.  This playlist has a few long country music sections and oldies sections.  Music ranges from tracks recorded from the 1950’s through 2017.

Enjoy songs from Karmin, Bitter:Sweet, Alina Baraz & Galimatias, Ariana Grande, Banks,  BØRNS, The Monkees, Sinead Harnett, VÉRITÉ,  Queen, Lissie, Bob Seger, Dion (and the Belmonts), Halsey, Lostboycrow, Madonna, Marian Hill, Phoebe Ryan, Post Malone, Kid Cudi, and Sade, in addition to tracks by Metallica, Avicii, Animotion, Carl Carlton, Alannah Myles, Counting Crows, The Cranberries, Ryn Weaver, Rag’n’Bone Man, GWAR, Stabbing Westward, Hailey Knox, Frank Sinatra, Seth MacFarlane, Boyz II Men, The Penguins, Elvis Presley, Arctic Monkeys, EMI, RuPaul, Salaam Remi, SG Lewis, The Weeknd, Belly, Eminem, Flo Rida, Tim Atlas, James Arthur, Trent Harmon, Dierks Bentley, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, The Rolling Stones, The Police, Tina Turner, Prinze George, Sneaker Pimps, Vaults, John Splithoff, Shawn Mendes, Christina Aguilera, Yuna, Fiona Apple, Billy Currington, Garth Brooks, Niall Horan, Charlie Puth, Khalid, Sabrina Claudio, Mothica, Selena Gomez, Rupee, En Vogue, TLC, Paula Abdul, Janet Jackson, Jon Bellion, Nelly Furtado, Tove Lo, The Offspring, OneRepublic, Radiohead, Poe, Flight Facilities, Tears for Fears, Michael Kiwanuka, Ed Sheeran, Gotye, Peter Gabriel, The Barenaked Ladies, Imagine Dragons, Sam & Dave, B.B.
